These are the final release notes for the June 2023 minor release. The version was bumped to 4.15 due to a planned mini release that was delayed and then merged into the June release.

New Features and Changes
Voice Names
Starting this release, we will display the actual voice names consistently. This means that, if you have the voice selector enabled, your users might see “English (UK) – Alice” instead of “English (UK)”. #6828

Flag Icons
The flag icons used in docReader are now the same as in webReader. They were chosen because they are clearer and require less bandwidth. #6439

Shared Exams Log
There is now a log for shared exams, which makes it possible for coordinators and teachers to see which exams were shared with which students in the last 30 days. It can be found in the main menu, under Organization > Exam Log. Note: Only exams shared after this update will be visible in the log. #6807
Reintroduce the Exam Timer
The exam timer has made a comeback in this version. It is disabled by default, but can be enabled by the coordinator for all exams, or by a teacher for each individual exam. #5932
When activated, the timer displays the remaining time before an exam needs to be submitted:
By clicking on the time, it can be collapsed to just a button, so as to not cause stress for the student:
When less than 5 minutes remain of the exam, the timer will change to a blue background:
When less than 1 minute remain of the exam, the timer will change to a yellow background:
Coordinators can decide whether the timer should be enabled by default in the main menu > Organization > Settings > Exam Mode Default Settings:
Teachers can determine whether the exam timer should be displayed for each separate exam in the sharing dialog:
Automatically Log Out Students after Completed Exam
Students will be automatically logged out of TextAid after an exam has been submitted, either manually or automatically. This is a setting that can be controlled by the coordinator. #6805

New Translation Languages

Writing Assistance Default Settings
Coordinators and teachers can now update the writing assistance settings for an entire group of users at once. This is done by switching to the Settings for Other Users/Groups tab in the Writing Assistance Tools dialog. Note that updating for other users will overwrite any settings they have made. #3100
Move Multiple Documents to a Folder
It is now possible to move multiple files to a folder in the library. #6582
This is done by selecting multiple files, and selecting Move Selected Files from the dropdown menu:

Notable Corrections
Inform Firefox Users that the Snapshot Tool does not Work
For technical reasons, the Snapshot tool does not work in the Firefox version of the TextAid browser extension. We have added information about this inside TextAid. #6743
Wrong Date Format for Dutch
The date format for Dutch has been changed from DD/MM/YYYY
to DD-MM-YYYY

Remove the Assignments Module
As previously announced, the Assignments Module has been removed from this version of TextAid. We recommend that schools use the Hand in documents feature instead. #6708
