These are the release notes for the webReader November 2022 release.
New Features
- Revamped pop-up window with a new and clearer design.
- User settings have been reworked and split up into categories.
- Brand new keyboard shortcut editor that allows users to decide which keys to use for controlling the player and its functions.
- Translation languages and reading voices can be configured to always be displayed in the local language.
- The translation disclaimer message can be configured to be displayed in the translation target languages instead of the UI language.
Notable Changes and Corrections
- Accessibility improvements to make webReader compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Many bug fixes and smaller changes.
