New Features and Changes
Cookie Consent Dialog
We have added a Cookie consent dialog that makes it clearer to end-users which cookies are being used and enables them to choose whether to accept all cookies or just essential ones.
If only essential is selected, user settings will not be persisted between sessions.
The cookie dialog will not be displayed if docReader is running in an iframe. #11817
Settings for Page Mask and Reading Ruler
A panel has been added to enable end-users to adjust colors and transparency for the page mask and reading ruler. The new panel is opened from the regular settings panel. #7041
Notable Corrections
Translation Language Configuration Issue
There was an issue with configuration of translation languages that could cause the default languages to be displayed in addition to the configured ones. This has been solved. #11230
Accessibility Corrections
Various accessibility issues have been addressed (#9565, #11298), most notably:
- Some buttons did not announce their state
- Superfluous attributes caused duplicate reading from screen readers for some elements
- Invalid ARIA attributes
- Invalid role attributes
- Keyboard focus issues
